Not long before that, we also bumped into Helen Clark, who was showing some visitors around her new neighborhood. We had a chat about old times.

Cause for celebration
Today marks a significant achievement of this trip... While walking down Bleecker St, in the village, Charlotte spotted a Rhode Island number plate - thus completing the entire set of states' plates that we have seen. Yes, including Alaska and Hawaii!

The is a restaurant on about 40th to 42 street called I think the red spot which sells Tennessee Red Neck on tap. Well worth a try!it is to the left of Broadway or 5th as you head downtown. Good food as well. Hope it is all going well and that the dog didn't have rabies otherwise you will have to shoot Mark! It is a buzzy town and I can assure you when you line up in Times Square for theatre tickets they are well behaved and don't break ranks. Great place to meet people as well.
